Terms & conditions
Who we are
The Pool is an initiative of Homecoming Gallery in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. You can reach us at hello@thepool.gallery.
Ordering
The works on this website are offered subject to availability. When you send an order request, you ask us to reserve the work for you. We reply by email with a confirmation, the shipping costs and a payment link. The purchase is final once we have received your payment. Until then, either of us can still withdraw.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include Dutch VAT, unless stated otherwise. Shipping, framing and any import duties outside the European Union are not included and are stated separately before you pay. A work remains our property, or that of the artist, until it has been paid for in full.
The works
We describe and photograph every work as carefully as we can. Colours can look slightly different on a screen than in reality, and sizes of prints can vary by a few millimetres. Editions are limited as described on the page of the work, and come with a certificate of authenticity where stated.
Copyright
Buying a work does not transfer its copyright. All rights to the image stay with the artist. You may not reproduce the work, or use images from this website, without written permission.
Shipping and damage
How we ship and how long it takes is described on the Shipping page, which is part of these terms. All sales are final: prints are produced to order and works are framed at your request, so they cannot be returned. This does not affect the rights the law gives you as a consumer, for example when a work arrives damaged.
Liability
If something goes wrong on our side, we will put it right: by repairing, replacing or refunding the work. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the work, except where the law does not allow that limit. We are not liable for damage caused by hanging, framing by third parties, sunlight, moisture or other use after delivery.
Complaints
Not happy with something? Email us and we will reply within 14 days. Consumers in the EU can also submit a dispute through the European online dispute resolution platform.
